Abbado Conducts Schubert's Great

In this concert, Roberto Abbado leads a performance of Schubert's Great Symphony, a work so crucial to our musical heritage, it is hard to believe that the score lay unperformed for years and could easily have been lost altogether. Listening to it leaves you with the heartbreaking sense of just how different the history of music might have been if Schubert had not died so young.

Performed at Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and Ted Mann Concert Hall
