Schubert's Little C Major Symphony

The final concert in our 2011-12 celebration of Franz Schubert, this program features his Overture in the Italian Style and his delightful Symphony No. 6, nicknamed The Little C Major. In tribute to the Viennese master, the orchestra will also perform John Harbison's piano quartet November 19, 1828, an introspective meditation on the end of Schubert's life.
