Thomas Tempel
Former SPCO Musician
Thomas Tempel has played second oboe with The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra since 1969. Tempel has taught at the Saskatchewan Summer School of the Arts and at Gustavus Adolphus College. A frequent SPCO soloist, Tempel has also appeared with the Platteville Summer Music Festival and the Bach Chamber Players. A native Minnesotan, Tempel studied at the University of Minnesota with Rhadames Angelucci, former principal oboe of the Minnesota Orchestra. Tempel also plays recorder and English horn.
