Performance poet Lorena Duarte joins the SPCO for a cross-cultural, bilingual (Spanish and English) childhood story told through music and poetry. This 50-minute program features commissioned work by Duarte, beloved musical favorites like “Ritual Fire Dance” from Manuel de Falla’s El Amor Brujo, and contemporary pieces by Gabriela Lena Frank. Geared for children 6–12 and their families, but all ages are welcome.
