Description of the concert being rehearsed:
This program features Bach’s Saint Matthew Passion, a stirring expression of the composer’s deep Christian faith that is often regarded as his crowning achievement. Led by English conductor Paul McCreesh, this masterpiece will be performed in a distinctive one-to-a-part arrangement featuring singers from the renowned Gabrieli Consort.
