Description of the concert being rehearsed:
Mozart wrote the overture to his operatic masterpiece Don Giovanni in just a few hours the night before its premiere in Prague. Our 2018.19 season finale captures the incredible creative burst that resulted in this overture and the symphony that Mozart wrote for the musicians of Prague, the city that embraced him in the last years of his life in a way that Vienna never did.
