Join us for a special open rehearsal of Viet Cuong’s new work Doubling Back, featuring a special workshop between the composer and orchestra musicians as they work through material for a piece being premiered this November. The workshop process is a core feature of the SPCO’s new Sandbox Composer Residency program, and this open rehearsal will be the first opportunity for audiences to get a glimpse of the work between composer and musicians. After the rehearsal and workshop, Cuong will join the audience for a Q&A session, offering insights into his compositional process.
