Beginning this year, the SPCO’s FREE Start the Music! program is coming to the Capri Theater. Start the Music! is an exciting way to introduce a young listener to classical music – but is really fun for the whole family! Before the concert begins, children can try instruments themselves, make a musical craft, play games and get their faces painted. During the 30-minute concert, audiences will meet the members of an instrument family, hear a variety of music and listen to a children’s book being read with a one-of-a-kind “soundtrack.”

Small hands and big imaginations will engage and delight in this program, specifically designed for families with children ages 3-6 (however, all ages are welcome).
