Public Transit
Metro Transit is pleased to offer free rides to all October SPCO concerts. If you have tickets to October concerts, watch your email for a concert reminder including a link to download your free Metro Transit pass.
From the north on I-35E
Take the Wacouta St./10th St. exit. Take a slight right at 10th St. At fourth stoplight, turn left onto Cedar St. turn right onto West 7th St. At third stoplight, turn left onto 5th St. Proceed one block, turn right onto Washington St.
From the south on I-35E
Exit at Kellogg Blvd. and turn right. At second stoplight, turn left onto West 7th St., then turn right onto 5th St. Proceed one block, turn right onto Washington St.
From the east on I-94
Take the 6th St. exit. Turn left onto Washington St.
From the west on I-94
Take the 5th St. exit. Turn right onto Washington St.
From the airport/Fort Snelling on Highway 5:
Take Hwy. 5 east to Shepard Rd. Take Shepard Rd. to Eagle St. to Chestnut St. and turn left. Turn right on West 7th St, right at 5th St. and right again on Washington St.
The Ordway is located at 345 Washington Street in downtown Saint Paul, directly across from Rice Park. There are numerous parking ramps within easy walking distance. The closest ramps are RiverCentre, Lawson Commons, Kellogg Street Ramp, and Landmark Towers. There is no direct skyway connection to the Ordway, but if you are coming through the RiverCentre you can get very close to the front door.
Public Transit
Avoid traffic and paying for parking by taking the Metro Transit. The nearest Green Line Light Rail stop is just a few blocks from the Ordway at 5th and Cedar (Central Station). The Ordway is also easily accessible by bus. Visit metrotransit.com to help plan your trip to and from your concert.

Parking meters are free Monday - Saturday after 5:00 p.m. and all day Sunday.

Mobility Impaired Services
Parking: There is curbside assistance offered for patrons, but The City of St Paul does not have specific parking locations designated for people with disabilities. People with disabilities may park free at any available meter with proper vehicle identification.
• Wheelchair transport assistance is available from curbside to the seat. Please notify the doorkeeper or usher upon arrival if you would like transport assistance.
Elevators: Elevators are located on Orchestra right near the main lobby, to the right of the Box Office. Elevators access the Mezzanine and a portion of the Balcony. Elevators do not access the Gallery level.
Wheelchair Seating: There is wheelchair seating for Ordway Music Theater. Please indicate any special needs when ordering tickets. Please refer to the available wheelchair seating options when ordering tickets:
• Spaces for motorized scooters, wheelchairs, and carts (no chairs): ORXL WHLCH 1 (Scale 1), ORCH V WCLFT (Scale 2), and ORCH V WCRGT (Scale 3)
• Seating for all wheelchairs/scooters (moveable seats) – ALL Scale 3: MEXL E 11-12 and MEXR M 11-12, BAXR seats, Boxes J thru L: box L is best, Mezzanine Row MM 213-214 and 313-314
• Additionally, these seating areas are accessible without climbing any stairs, but are not held as wheelchair seating: Orch Boxes, Mezz Boxes E and M, and Balc G.
Accessible Restrooms: There is one, single occupancy, accessible restroom in the lobby to the left of the ticket office, past the coat check. There are three additional restrooms but the accessible restroom in the lobby is the easiest for anyone with mobility issues. There is one set of restrooms located just off the main lobby, down the stairs to left of the ticket counter. There is one on the mezzanine level on the north side (house right), and one at the balcony level directly above the mezzanine facilities.
Hearing/Visually Impaired Services
Programs: Large print programs are available at all performances upon request and Braille programs are available with one month advance notice from the date of the concert.
Listening Devices: Infra-red hearing devices available from Patron Services – main floor, near elevators.
