Patricia Kopatchinskaja Plays Beethoven

This program was a highlight of the 2015-16 the as Patricia Kopatchinskaja, “the most exciting violinist in the world” (Strings Magazine), performed the world premiere of a violin concerto by esteemed composer Michael Hersch, as well as Beethoven’s beloved Violin Concerto in her own interpretation based on Beethoven's original manuscript. Kopatchinskaja also leads the orchestra from the violin on Haydn’s Symphony No. 49.
