Christopher Kachian, guitarist, has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas as a chamber musician, concerto soloist, orchestral multi-instrumentalist, and recitalist. As a performer he is active in expanding the repertoire for guitar and has commissioned and premiered dozens of new concerti, chamber pieces and solos for guitar. He has written Composer's Desk Reference for the Classic Guitar (Mel Bay). As a recording artist, he can be heard on RCA, Clarion, 10,000 Lakes, Innova, Collins Classics and valve-hearts. Since 1984, Dr Kachian has directed one of the largest guitar programs in the US at the University of St Thomas.
