'Dieter' is an oboist and teacher based in Kansas City. A frequent performer with the Kansas City Symphony and Vashon Opera in Washington state, he is also a member of the Bluestem Woodwind Quintet and Meadowlark Trio. He is on faculty at Washburn University.
His teachers include John DeJarnatt, John Snow, Nancy Ambrose King, and Barbara Bishop. He holds degrees from St. Olaf College, and the Universities of Minnesota, Michigan, and Missouri-Kansas City.
