Graham Taylor

Graham Taylor is currently principal trumpet of the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra and the Mankato Symphony. Mr. Taylor received a Master of Music degree (2003) from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as well as a Bachelor of Music degree (1999) from Northwestern University. Graham has performed with the Pacific Symphony, Pageant of the Masters Festival Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony, Berkeley Symphony, Oakland East Bay Symphony, Marin Symphony, San Jose Opera, Monterey Symphony, Santa Cruz Symphony, Lamplighters, Symphony Napa Valley, Opera Paralléle, Fresno Philharmonic, and can be heard on recordings with Hiss Golden Messenger as a trumpet player and arranger.

As an educator Graham has been on faculty with the Idyllwild Arts Academy, University of San Francisco, and the San Francisco Day School.

In 2016 Graham participated in the Stockholm Chamber Brass Academy in Sweden, and returned to the Academy in 2017 and 2018 for intensive work with Urban Agnas (Stockholm Chamber Brass and professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Köln).

Graham lives in Minneapolis with his wife Alison, and seven year old daughter Waverly.
