Guillaume Pirard

Born in Belgium, Guillaume Pirard studied the modern and baroque violin at the Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music, the Den Haag Royal Conservatory, and the Juilliard School. His teachers include Vera Beths, Hyo Kang, Anner Bylsma and Mira Glodeanu. As a founding member of the chamber orchestra The Knights, he has played in major festivals such as Tanglewood, Ravinia, Ojai and Caramoor. He has performed with the Saint-Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Camerata Pacifica, A Far Cry, the Sejong Soloists and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie.

Guillaume Pirard has taught at New York University and San Diego State University. He lives in Brooklyn.
