Katelyn Lewis

Katelyn Lewis, originally from Los Angeles, California, is the former Third Horn/Associate Principal Horn of the New Mexico Philharmonic and Second Horn of the Santa Fe Symphony. Previous to this, Katelyn performed as a freelance musician in the Greater Los Angeles area, playing with several ensembles including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and Santa Barbara Symphony.

Katelyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Horn Performance from the Eastman School of Music and her master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Her principal teachers include W. Peter Kurau, Dr. Kristy Morrell, and Steve Becknell.

In her free time, Katelyn enjoys swimming, yoga, true crime documentaries, and spending time with her family.
