Lyn Schoch

Guest Musician

Lyn Schoch made her international solo debut at the 2012 International Music Students Festival in Kyoto, Japan, as a representative of the United States. She graduated from The Juilliard School with a Bachelor of Music as a student of Mark Gould and Raymond Mase, and recently completed a Master of Music at SUNY Purchase College. In 2010, Lyn won first prize in the National Trumpet Competition Undergraduate Solo Division. She received fellowships to the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra as well as the Aspen Music Festival and has performed in eight different countries. Lyn currently maintains a private teaching studio in Westchester County, New York, and is an active freelance musician in the greater New York City area. Recent performances include engagements with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, American Ballet Theatre Orchestra, and the Philharmonia Orchestra of New York.
