Winner of the 2014 Juilliard Concerto Competition, Violist Matthew Sinno made his New York Concerto debut with the Juilliard Orchestra under Larry Rachleff in Alice Tully Hall. He has also made solo appearances with the Music Academy International Festival Orchestra, Boston Youth Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Rhode Island Soloist Ensemble as winner of their respective concerto competitions. An avid chamber musician, Matthew recently collaborated with renowned artists Jeremy Denk and Donald Weilerstein at the Perlman Music Program Chamber Workshop and Music Academy of the West. He also appeared at the Chestnut Hill Concert series in Connecticut alongside SPCO's concertmaster Steven Copes and former principal cellist, Ronald Thomas. As an orchestral player, Mr. Sinno regularly subs with the New York Philharmonic and New World Symphony.

A native of Boston, Matthew finished his studies at the Juilliard School in 2014, where he received both his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees. His principal teachers include Heidi Castleman, Cynthia Phelps,Toby Appel and David Rubenstein. He currently is undergoing an Artist Diploma at the Curtis Institute with Roberto Diaz.
